btw i think the voting should be done through poll because it will make it more easier for the guys to cast their vote.. in that way we can have more people vote for the entries

There are two reasons why we vote per note: First, polls can only have ten options, and most of our challenges have more submissions than that. Secondly, we want only members to vote, so that no-one wins just because they asked all their friends to vote for them.

Also, casting your vote is as easy as copying the text from the journal and clicking the note link in our shoutboard (+ paste and send, of course). Considering that a poll doesn't show the thumbs and you'll have to click back and forth between the journal and the poll, voting per note isn't much more difficult than voting in a poll.
